God is love, and whoever abides in love abides in God, and God abides in them. (1 John 4:16) This is the bottom line, in my view of the universe.

Introducing, again…: The Blog Space

WE the PEOPLE are awesome! We get knocked down, but we get up again! We keep our dreams alive, in-spite-of our mad, mad, mad, mad world!  And We Believe!

I Believe that humans are mysterious, forward-thinking creatures, some of whom today are anticipating and contemplating a “homestead lifestyle.” People like yourself. Thanks for stopping by! It’s so cool that so many of us long to go “back to the land” to plant potatoes and raise our children!

Although the din of battle screeches loudly from the internet, there are some of us that know that when the worldwide unrest is over, humanity will emerge transformed, regenerated, Reborn. We know that Love will prevail and We know we will share a new lease on life with Mother Nature.

Indeed, Mother Nature is quietly knocking on the doors of our souls! (Along with God, Source and (fill in the blank:) ___________________________

Change is Coming!  I BELIEVE!

As I recall, back in the 1960’s and early 1970’s, there was a sort of similar Spirit in the air, which was often called “The Movement,” the “Peace Movement” (due to the Viet Nam War) and also, the “Hippie Movement.” I remember being so very charmed by the lyrics of a popular song when I first heard it on the radio at age 14 or so: “If you’re going to San Francisco, be sure to wear some flowers in your hair.”  But I hear the place is now a mess???

Well, yes, I was charmed by both the Good (music…) and the Bad (drugs…) in the Hippie Movement. I learned some important lessons and (Yay) I got away from the bad stuff rather successfully.  Please read my story here: Homespun: A Return to the Land.

I am a great deal older now than when I wrote this little “Homespun” book by kerosene light for a Christmas present for my lonesome Grandmother. Now, these many years later, I find myself impatiently chomping at the bit when in my mind’s eye I see a glorious Earthly Future of Spiritual Enlightenment, Love, and PEACE.

Believe in your dream!

I believe a dream of rural living is lodged deep in my heart and many hearts. In a world where poor homeless humans live in squalor on the sidewalks and scrounge around for food scraps in garbage cans, escape from these demoralizing hell-holes may seem all but impossible. All the more reason to believe.

WE THE PEOPLE must Believe! I would wager that in many hearts around the globe, there is a longing for simple, quiet happy towns and un-crowded villages, and communal farms, bustling with organic fresh garden markets, dances and song and beautiful cozy human nests surrounded by trees, ponds and rivers and bountiful fields. (Tech can have its place. Let the robots do the heavy lifting!)

Believe we are sacred:

And here is a quote from my book The Whole Kit and Caboodle Is… As Sacred As 1,2,3:

“Sooner or later, we the Created MUST come full circle and acknowledge the Divine Loving Creator in ourselves and in all other things. It’s an ancient Truth that – apparently must be spoke a hundred zillion times or more because humans are so thick headed. It’s a Truth that defies the barriers between Catholic and Protestant, Muslim and Jew and so on; and is as factual as any scientific “fact”.
